Eagle Leather and Down An’ Dirty present ‘Eagle Sessions’ for A Week of Leather and Fetish at The Laird.

Now in its tenth year, Eagle Sessions will once again see The Lairds’ Back Bar area converted into an intimate space worthy of kinky master classes.

You can do one or both sessions but be sure to get in early – these events generally sell out.

The guys from Down An’ Dirty will be on hand to answer any questions relating to safer kink and BDSM play including bondage, fisting, electro-play and more. Also on hand will be GP George Forgan-Smith to tackle any medical and safety concerns.

100% of funds raised from both sessions will be donated to Rainbow Community Angels, proudly making LGBTIQA+ communities, our kids and families feel safer, supported and connected.

To bind the body is to free the mind, and to gag the mouth allows the body to speak... Drawing upon elements of kink and tantric practice with the rigour of shibari dojo training as a base, the themes of Von Riga’s kinbaku are passion, provocation, poetry. Being present to each moment, intuitive in one’s choice of what to tie, and deeply connected to one’s tying partner is key. Thereafter, simply to tie, tie, tie, allow these themes to find fullest expression. Von Riga can be found curating and performing at Melbourne’s premier rope events as well as teaching weekly at Soul Rope Studio.

Basics: Rope play can include rope as attire, rope for restraint in floor play or in suspension, and predicament rope. By the end of this class you should have a solid foundation in the basics of rope types, safety and techniques from which to take your bondage play to the next level.

More: Rope play is bondage, but it is also so much more. It is a sensory tool, an instrument, it is a lively, dynamic art form, a conduit of expression between Top and bottom. From elaborate SM scenes to the straightforward application of rope for sex, it is a discipline to be carefully and thoroughly learnt, yet the enjoyment of rope is something accessible to players of all levels.

BOOKING: This seminar/workshop is limited to 25 people, bookings are required. Upon ticket purchase, your name will be added to the list of attendees and marked off on the night. This class will run for approximately 1.5/2 hours.

SESSION 2 – IMPACT PLAY

Eagle Leathers BJ is an accomplished BDSM top with a full time passion for everything that is BDSM and fetish. Through his career at Eagle Leather, he has focused on education and established himself as one of the main presenters at Eagle Leather's workshops and seminars for over 15 years.

His cool and calm presentation style has won him many fans, as well as coveted awards such as "Australia's Best Sex Educator" and “Australia’s Best BDSM Master” at the Eros Shine Awards.

Basics: Impact play can include spanking, flogging, caning, paddling, strapping or any other device you choose to use as impact equipment.  By the end of this class you should be able to comfortably handle impact equipment to successfully play out your fantasies.

More:  Impact play is about far more than punishment, and as such, those interested in impact play come with many different reasons in mind.  It can be a tool for such a variety of experiences – including as an ordeal, for an endorphin high, for a bonding experience, or as a ritualistic encounter.  Impact play can signify devotion, or can be simply to achieve orgasm. It can be for one or more of these reasons.

Bring your own flogger if you have one, otherwise we can provide one for you…
